Los actores Elisabeth Olsen y John Boyega anunciaron ayer los nominados a los 31º Independent Spirit Awards , que se entregarán el próximo 27 de febrero de 2016. Estos galardones, que llevan entregándose desde 1984,
premian lo mejor del cine independiente y se celebran justo un día antes de la ceremonia de los Oscars en Santa Mónica (California).
La película de Todd Haynes, Carol, junto a Spotlight de Tomas McCarthy, lideran las candidaturas con 6 nominaciones cada una. Le siguen Beasts Of No Nation, el drama bélico de Cary Joji Fukunaga, con cinco nominaciones. Y Anomalisa de Charlie Kaufman, con cuatro. Por último, con tres candidaturas la película rodada con tres Iphone 5s, Tangerine de Sean Baker.
